‘Desperate Housewives’ to End After Season-8

You are a fan of ‘Desperate Housewives’? Be prepared because soon the series that aired from 2004 it would end soon.

desperatehouseAs quoted from Us Magazine, in a release issued Sunday (07/08/2011), the ABC revealed the season-8 will be aired last season, Desperate Housewives.

“All good must come to an end,” said ABC Entertainment Chairman Paul Lee in a statement.

Termination of the series is presumably because the story of the women of Wisteria Lane, it continued to experience deterioration in the rating. The series creator Marc Cherry is currently also facing a legal case. He was sued by Nicollotte Sheridan who plays Edie Britt. Sheridan accuses Cherry to slap her.

Even so, Paul still considers serial starring Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Nicolette Sheridan is still as an iconic event. He was proud to have produced ‘Desperate Housewives’.

“You will see a very interesting shots that always makes me happy every watch,” he explained about the last season of Desperate Housewives’.

Desperate Housewives is a story that raised the issue of women residents of Wisteria Lane, from the widow of one child’s Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) to the problem of mother of four Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman). A character named Mary Alice Young becomes the narrator who often opens the serial story.
