World Bank boss believes the U.S. Crisis Not Fall Again

Robert Zoellick World Bank President Robert Zoellick said he believes the U.S. will not fall again into a state of economic recession. Although currently there are fears the country with the largest economy in the world is going back into recession.

“I do not believe the United States and the world will experience a double dip conditions,” said Zoellick was quoted as saying by AFP on Tuesday (09/06/2011).

This is a double dip scenario the worst crisis. In this condition, the U.S. economy will fall back after the crisis in 2008 and a crisis situation so that the recovery would be long become increasingly difficult.

Although the U.S. will avoid a crisis, but Zoellick said the U.S. and global economy is facing high uncertainty currently.

“I think the U.S. economy will slow, unemployment will also be high,” said Zoellick.

Zoellick’s statement was made after the global financial market turmoil in recent days driven by fears that the U.S. economy will fall again in a situation of recession-called ‘double dip’.

On this day, most stock markets in Asia fell due to poor U.S. employment data, plus the fear of debt crisis in the ropa is getting worse.

In addition, Zoellick also threw his opinion about the debt crisis in Europe that raises the fear of getting worse.

According to Zoellick, the debt crisis raises profound affect on the economy of the world, not just in financial markets and stock only. Debt crisis in Europe also hit consumer confidence and business people in the world.
